Your big iron, accounted for.
Your operators already do the walkaround. CampMarshal puts it on a scan instead of a clipboard, so every machine has a dated history, a maintenance schedule, and a last known location, with no new hardware.

The problem
Heavy equipment moves between job sites, yards, and trailers, and the paperwork rarely keeps up. Inspections end up on clipboards, maintenance requests get lost, and when something breaks you're left wondering when it was last checked.
How it works
Monday the excavator heads to a site an hour out. The operator scans it before he fires it up and runs his walkaround on the phone: tracks, hoses, fluids, lights. Out where there's no signal, it saves on the phone and syncs once he's back in range.
Wednesday he notices a hydraulic line weeping. He scans, flags it, takes a photo. Your mechanic gets the report right then, not when the clipboard finally comes back. If it's serious, put the machine on a hold so nobody schedules it for the next job.
CampMarshal counts the time each machine is in use. Those hours are time in active status, not a reading from the machine's hour meter. Set a rule like "service every 100 hours in use" or "every six months," and when it's due, the right people get a reminder and a task lands in the maintenance queue. Every scan records where it happened, so your live map shows where each machine was last seen.
How it works is up to you
CampMarshal generates the QR codes. Print them yourself, or order exactly what you need from any print shop, including metal tags. A $100k generator gets a code inside the door. That code carries its time in use, its maintenance schedule, and a day-by-day record of the equipment and crew on the job, which you can export. Already painted unit numbers? Look up any unit by type and number, no scan required. Attachments can share a code with the trailer they ride on, or each get their own.
Your tags, your way covers stickers, metal tags, and large signs.
