Terms of Service

It exists so a customer's security or procurement questionnaire has something concrete to reference instead of nothing. Who these terms are between

These terms govern use of CampMarshal (the "Service"), operated by Ethan Ferrier doing business as CampMarshal ("CampMarshal," "we," "us"), by the organization that signs up for it ("Customer," "you") and its authorized users.

The Service

CampMarshal is QR/code-based equipment tracking software for rental fleets, provided as a hosted web application and a companion mobile app. We may change or improve the Service over time.

Your account and data

You're responsible for the accuracy of the equipment, job, and personnel data your organization enters, and for keeping your account credentials confidential. See our privacy policy for how we handle that data, and our security overview for how it's protected.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to store or transmit unlawful content, attempt to defeat its access controls, or interfere with other customers' use of it.

Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we don't currently offer a contractual uptime service-level agreement. If you need one, contact us to discuss it.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, CampMarshal is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

Termination

Either party may stop using or providing the Service as agreed in your order or subscription terms, or, absent a separate agreement, with reasonable notice.

Changes to these terms

Because this page is a draft, expect it to change as it's replaced with a reviewed agreement. We'll update this page when that happens.
